Do you struggle with improving your artwork over the years?

I certainly did.

And one of the best ways that I've personally found helps me improve MUCH quicker is by: leaving my comfort zone.

It really makes you think of things you're not used to, and keeps you creatively entertained.

But how do you leave your comfort zone as an artist?

Here are my suggestions and what worked for me in the past:

Try A New Tool (it can be a traditional tool such as guache, watercolor, charcoal... or even a digital tool, such as a new drawing software like Krita and Clip Studio Paint, or a new fun brush!)
Discover New Artists And Try To Copy Their Style (for practice purposes only!)
Practice A New Skill Set (do you usually draw lots of characters? try focusing on environments! Maybe go learn some 3D modeling or animation! These skills can improve your original skill set and are a fun way to keep creative. Right now, I'm focusing on practicing more perspective!)

These are just 3 quick ways to get out of your comfort zone and start creating.
